Have you ever read a book, watched a film or a series, come across a video or a poem, and suddenly thought: yes, that is exactly how I feel?
Maybe it was a character you understood a little too well. A sentence you went back and read twice. A choice that made you angry, a struggle that felt strangely familiar, or a moment that put words to something you had never been able to explain.
That is where this space begins.
We have built it with a lot of love and even more excitement, because stories have been part of how we learned to understand ourselves, other people, and life a little more deeply. They help us recognize our patterns, look differently at the obstacles in front of us, find inspiration when we need it, gather the courage to grow or rebuild, and sometimes simply remind us that we are not the only ones who have ever felt this way.
This is a growing collection of doorways.
Films, series, books and other pieces we have loved, chosen because somewhere inside them was a moment, an idea, a character, a phrase or a perspective that stayed with us. As this space grows, films and series will open into two different rooms, with books and other discoveries finding their own place here too.
What we hope is that our lens offers another way of looking at something you may already know, something you may never have questioned, or something you simply had not seen before. Because stepping for a moment into someone else’s story can change the way we look at our own.
Some will make you smile. Some may make you uncomfortable. Some may move you to fight, change, let go, or begin again. Some may do nothing more than make you feel deeply understood. And some may simply be something you enjoy, with no deeper meaning and no lesson to uncover. Just a good film, a great book, or a story that was worth your time.
There is no single lesson hiding behind any of them.
Sometimes what stays with us is not the story itself.
It is the part of ourselves we recognized inside it.
